As a nonprofit, donor-supported organization, the CF Foundation has made a tremendous difference in the lives of those with CF and continues to be one of the most efficient and effective healthcare organizations in the country. Through the Foundationís efforts, the life expectancy of a child born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years, and nearly half the CF population today is age 18 or older. In fact, many patients are living into their 30s, 40s, and beyond.
