The 2014 Raymond James & RSA Boca Grande Classic Presented by Gasparilla Inn & Club Redbone@Large event was held May 13th, 14th and 15th, 2014 at the Gasparilla Inn & Club on Gasparilla Island, Florida to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Celebrity Ed Marinaro served as host and emcee for the event, which attracting dozens of anglers to support the cause.
This year we were pleased to announce that Ford, Outriggers and Focus Brands join the team to support the cause. For the first time in history of the tournament we sold out sponsorship and raise approximately $110,000 net to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis. The Boca Grande fishing tournament has raised more than $1,000,000 over the past 11 years.
Team Grande Champion Anglers Todd Ferguson and Phil Swim were guided by local Captain Mike Slattery and they won three different awards. This was the first time they won the event and are excited to come back next year to compete for the top award once again!
